Ghost Fishing Solutions is dedicated to taking action on the global environmental issues of ghost fishing, thereby contributing to cleaner oceans and marine life protection.

Our “GFS” device, universally applicable, bundles a network of trackable fishing gear and cancels the risk of losing nets and other gear where applied. It utilizes mobile/satellite technology for accurate location tracking and features a pressure sensitive release mechanism that activates under predefined conditions.

Inga has been undertaking NTNU (leading Norwegian university for engineering) studies in shipping and working as a professional ship agent for GAC Norway. She is deeply committed to playing an active role in the green transition of the maritime industry. Inga's dedication to sustainability matches the company's core values and mission.

Leif Martin Klakken

Founder

Leif Martin is a serial entrepreneur with a consistent history of success. Demonstrating unparalleled drive and expertise, the latest project was sale of Norway's real estate company Bo Coliving AS, a standout in student housing, to the esteemed US real estate securities fund, Heitman, in Q1 2023, securing a deal worth around $200 million.

Herman Helgesen

Herman Helgesen has a strong engineering and management background from the ship building industry working on cutting edge technology and ground breaking vessels within the fishing and offshore industry. At NTNU (leading Norwegian university for engineering) he studied mechanical engineering, product development and design. He also holds an MBA in Business development and strategy.
